Anonymity

I am not the only Lakewood blogger who is not anonymous. R' Yehuda Shain has two Lakewood blogs, and he certainly is not anonymous. However, I am the only other Lakewood blogger who is not anonymous. This is because I am not out to pick fights with anyone, and I would say anything that I say here in front of anyone in Lakewood. In fact, everything I say here IS in front of everyone in Lakewood. (That is, if you have an ishur.)

your also apparently the only lakewood blogger that's not worried about getting his kids into school or about getting thrown out of BMG

Anonymous: Because I don't say anything online that I wouldn't say to the Roshei Yeshiva.

Eshet Chayil: Are there any that I missed?

even if your blog was about your utmost admiration for the ry, you could run in to trouble for just using the internet.

I have a legitimate business need for the Internet, and have an ishur from one of the Yeshiva poskim to that effect.

but will they allow THIS frivolous use of the internet.

besides the schools won't accept your kids just because you got reshus from the lakewood poskim to act like what is in their opinion, a shaigets.

so again your using your name doesn't reflect on the content of your blog. it is just an example of not being as careful as other people are about getting their children into schools

Nu, nu... There's too much to argue about here, and I'm not feeling so argumentative...

I really respect you , as all this hiding around is starting to irritate me. When I started blogging, it was fun, and de-stressing , now it is first causing stress..

I don't need a Ishur, because, I am in my school's library, which is BH , more then 20 miles away from Lakewood. Its just a Tznius issue, I couldn't have the honest dialogue with so many different types of people and learn so much, which is very helpful as I am pursuing a Sociology degree, without the anonymiity.

You have to repect the guy who puts his name on his words. At the same time, it's kind of a good idea to have a place to voice opinions where you're not scared of getting penalized by the powers-that-be. So, maybe you should start an anon. blog too.
Maybe you already have...
All the Best,
Danny G
