A Moral Dilemma
So, let's say that you are absolutely certain that the author of a certain anonymous blog is someone you know. He or she does not know that you know that he or she is the author of that blog. He or she discusses or might discuss certain aspects of their life on their blog which they may not want to share with people who know them.
Should you tell them that you know that they write that particular blog? Or, is it their own fault for blogging?
What say you?
(Yes, I am in this predicament, and no, I'm not saying which blog.)

You should not tell them you know that/what they blog; it may embarrass them.
If you feel uncomfortable reading their private thoughts, and/or if you feel they would really rather you not read their private thoughts, perhaps you should consider exercising self control and ignore the temptation of reading said thoughts.
If you feel they may not be aware that they have been indiscreet, and if you feel another, less sensitive, person may stumble across their blog and discover their identity, you might consider posting an anonymous comment informing them that their blog may not be as private as they'd like to think it is and that perhaps they should edit/delete some posts and/or be more discreet in the future.

Write the blogger a personal mail, or in case the blog doesn't give any, leave a comment asking to contact you in turn. Alternatively, write to the "real-life" person, whose mail adress should be less of a problem.
I'd write something stating you think you know who (s)he is, namely soandso, and that others might know as well, so it might be worth keeping this in mind when the blogger writes about personal things.
I'd ask the blogger not to answer to the mail, so that (s)he won't feel forced to lie to you or reveal the ID unless that's OK for him/her. Not "no need to tell me", but really "I explicitly ask you not to answer." The blogger might still choose to answer, but if not, shtike isn't houdoe.

Dilemma solved...
this is a real toughy... i honestly don't know. I think it depends on the nature of what is written on the blog.
